Working Principle of LED Breakpoint Resume Transmission
Breakpoint resume transmission is applied to the signal transmission of LED control systems. Its core function is to ensure that the modules behind the fault point can still display images normally without black or distorted screens when wire breakage or poor contact occurs on the transmission line.
- 1.Hardware structure: Each LED receiving card is equipped with an independent signal forwarding chip for signal relay and amplification. The signal is sent from the sending card to the first receiving card, which copies the complete signal and forwards it to the next receiving card stage by stage.
- 2.Fault processing logic: If the cable connected to the 3rd receiving card is disconnected, the 1st and 2rd receiving cards work normally. The 4th, 5th and subsequent receiving cards will not lose signals due to the broken front circuit, and maintain image output through independent forwarding circuits.
- 3.Practical advantages: In the traditional series connection mode, the whole screen fails once a single line breaks. With breakpoint resume transmission, only the local position of the fault is abnormal while other areas keep lit, greatly improving the operation stability of security and commercial large screens.

All LED displays feature this function: if a single pixel or lamp bead fails, it will not affect the normal display of other lamp beads. This ensures stable operation of the entire screen and prevents the whole display from malfunctioning due to one faulty lamp or pixel.
